Principal Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance

• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians in maintenance best practices.
• Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
• Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for complex mechanical issues and failures.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and develop corrective actions.
• Project Management: Manage maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and reliability engineering.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
